Make no mistake these hooks are awesome. Super sharp, super strong, flat forged, teflon coated with perfectly formed eyes. The straight shank and eye, swept bend and straight point in conjunction with the heavy gauge wire makes this a truly dependable pattern when things might get a bit hairy. Suited to popular bottom bait and pop up presentations this pattern lends itself to fishing situations around snaggy areas. Along with all XXX Hooks these really do stay in leading to fewer dropped fish. The pictures really don't do these hooks justice, as with all 3 patterns in the XXX range when we launched these at Brentwood in January the majority of people that had a play with these hooks bought them. £2.79 is still less expensive than the shops, but the XXX's really are worth every penny.
